An exciting reunion!
Last year, GenoWrite attended SLAS 2025, the flagship conference about automation held by the Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS). Held in San Diego, the event showcased the vendors who developed new tools for automating various lab processes. Along the way, I interviewed several startups who specialized in cell culturing and therapeutic development, as well as award-winning companies who are changing the way we study biological systems and treat diseases. What to expect from GenoWrite for SLAS 2026
At the Thomas Michael Menino Convention & Exhibition Center (CEC) in Boston, we will be producing more content than we’ve made at any other conference we’ve attended in the past three years. Here are the new pieces of content we’ll produce at SLAS 2026:Â
- A New YouTube channel: We’ll be debuting our YouTube channel! There, we will post shorts, mini-interviews, and more to document as much of our experience at SLAS 2026 as possible. That includes connecting with fellow attendees and getting their thoughts on SLAS 2026 as it unfolds, day by day!
- Written interviews: On top of that, we’ll be preparing written interviews that spotlight key developers of automated technologies and those benefitting from automating their R&D workflows.
- Recaps and reports: On top of the first-hand accounts, I’ll be writing reports that highlight the latest news from the global conference and trends to watch for from the life sciences automation industry in 2026.
